We look forward to welcoming you to Bekonscot to admire the model village and railways this autumn. Do not visit if any of your party have COVID-19 symptons or have been asked to self-isolate. Please do arrive within your chosen arrival time slot and we ask visitors to complete your visit within three hours to allow space for others. You can purchase hot drinks, tasty snacks, hot rolls and sandwiches from our Tearoom counter. Due to space constraints, picnics are not allowed on site. The Bekonscot Light Railway will be running and the Play area is now open, subject to current social distance guidance. The remote controlled boats are also operating with card payment, but not the water blaster.

Stuck in a 1930s time warp, see England how it used to be, and discover a wonderful little world tucked away from the hustle and bustle of eveyday life.

Come and take a trip on the Bekonscot Light Railway! Our narrow gauge ride-on (7.25” gauge) miniature railway weaves its way behind the model village, criss-crossing some gardens, encircles a pond and returns to the terminus.

Timetable

The light railway runs every day during our open season, from 10:30am until 4:30pm, departing “on demand” every few minutes.
